Abstract
In embodiments of the present invention, a method is provided for isolating aromatic compounds contained in a middle distillate by means of solvent extraction using a specific solvent, and a method is provided for producing a high quality light oil (diesel) from a middle distillate in which aromatics have been reduced by means of the solvent extraction.
