Definitions
- the present invention relates to an information search method and an information management device.
- the website search service allows free word search. Specifically, the user inputs one or more character strings as search conditions.
- the search service searches a Web site highly relevant to the input character string and outputs it as a search result. Such a search method is very easy to use, and is now a mainstream search method for Web site search services.
- the free word search as described above is suitable for atypical information like a Web site, but for typical information expressed by a plurality of items as managed in RDB (Relational Database). Is considered unsuitable. This is because the search for information expressed by a plurality of items is unlikely to obtain a desired search result unless a search condition that specifies the value of which item is input. Therefore, conventionally, in searching for information expressed by a plurality of items, a search condition is generally input via a screen for inputting a value for each item.
- an object of one aspect is to provide a search method and an information management apparatus that can improve the operability of search related to information having a plurality of items.
- a search method for information to be searched that is information to be searched and has a plurality of items, in response to reception of a search request for the search information, associated with information related to a transmission source of the search request. Based on the result of comparing one or more first character strings stored in the storage unit with the second character string specified in the search request, the item corresponding to the second character string is determined. Then, the computer executes a process of searching for the searched information using the second character string as a search condition for the determined item.

- an HDD Hard Disk Disk Drive
- flash memory or the like can be given. Both the recording medium 101 and the auxiliary storage device 102 correspond to computer-readable recording media.
- FIG. 3 is a diagram illustrating a functional configuration example of the information management apparatus according to the embodiment of the present invention.
- the information management apparatus 10 includes a search request receiving unit 11, an item determination unit 12, a search unit 13, a search result reply unit 14, a user related information registration unit 15, and the like. Each of these units is realized by processing that a program installed in the information management apparatus 10 causes the CPU 104 to execute.
- the information management apparatus 10 also includes an information storage unit 16, a user related information storage unit 17, an address determination information storage unit 18, a genre determination information storage unit 19, and the like. Each of these storage units can be realized using a storage device connected to the auxiliary storage device 102 or the information management device 10 via a network.
- the search request receiving unit 11 receives a search request transmitted from the client terminal 20.
- the search request includes one or more character strings as search conditions. In the search request, it is not specified which item of the facility information each character string corresponds to, that is, which item is the search condition. When a plurality of character strings are included, each character string is separated by a space, for example. That is, the search condition is input in the free word format at the client terminal 20.
- the item determination unit 12 determines which item of the facility information the character string as the search condition corresponds to. The determination is performed with reference to the user related information storage unit 17, the address determination information storage unit 18, the genre determination information storage unit 19, and the like.
- the user related information storage unit 17 stores, for each user of the client terminal 20, a character string group or a word group extracted from a character string acquired as an address in the past in relation to the user.
- these character string groups or word groups are referred to as “user-related information”.
- extraction of a character string group or a word group from a character string may be performed using a known technique such as a technique used when creating an inverted index.
- the address determination information storage unit 18 is a database including a full text search engine, for example.
- the address determination information storage unit 18 stores, for example, a list of prefecture names and city names as place names constituting addresses in the transposed index generated by the full-text search engine.
- the full-text search engine of the address determination information storage unit 18 extracts a place name from a database record that manages a list of national addresses or administrative divisions, and generates a transposed index. Therefore, a list of place names extracted regardless of a specific user is stored in the transposed index included in the address determination information storage unit 18.
- the genre determination information storage unit 19 is a database including a full-text search engine, for example.
- the genre determination information storage unit 19 stores a list of character strings used as genres in the transposed index generated by the full-text search engine.
- the search unit 13 searches for facility information from the information storage unit 16 using the determination result by the item determination unit 12. That is, the search unit 13 searches for facility information by using part or all of the character strings included in the search condition as character strings corresponding to the items determined by the item determination unit 12.
- the search result reply unit 14 returns, for example, the searched facility information as a search result by the search unit 13 to the client terminal 20 that is the search request source.
- the user related information registration unit 15 collects one or more character strings input as addresses in relation to the user, and extracts character string groups (word groups) from the character strings.
- the character string group that is decomposed into character string groups (word groups) and extracted is recorded in the user-related information storage unit 17 in association with the user.
- a character string input as an address in relation to the user for example, a character string input in the address input field at the time of user registration related to a service provided by the information management apparatus 10 can be given.
- the user related information registration unit 15 may acquire a character string indicating an address managed in association with the user in another computer system.
- the user-related information registration unit 15 cooperates with a computer system that provides a telematics service, as a home address input by the user to the vehicle-mounted device, an address input when setting the destination, or a destination
- a character string indicating an address corresponding to the set latitude and longitude may be acquired.
- “associating with a user” technically means, for example, associating with identification information of the user or identification information of the client terminal 20 used by the user.
- the information storage unit 16 stores facility information.
- 4 and 5 are flowcharts for explaining an example of the processing procedure of the search process.
- step S101 the search request receiving unit 11 receives a search request from the client terminal 20.
- the search request includes one or more character strings as search conditions.
- one character string as a search condition is referred to as a “search keyword”.
- the item determination unit 12 determines whether there are a plurality of search keywords included in the search request (S102). When there are a plurality of search keywords (Yes in S102), the item determining unit 12 sets one search keyword among the plurality of search keywords as a processing target. Hereinafter, the search keyword to be processed is referred to as a current keyword. (S103). Subsequently, the item determination unit 12 acquires user-related information registered for the search requesting user from the user-related information storage unit 17 (S104).
- FIG. 6 is a diagram illustrating a configuration example of the user-related information storage unit.
- the user related information stores a character string group extracted from a character string input as an address in association with the user in association with the identification information (user ID) of the user.
- user-related information associated with a user whose user ID is “AAA” is shown, but the user-related information storage unit 17 also stores user-related information regarding other users.
- the character string group stored in the user-related information storage unit 17 is determined in advance as a character string related to an address. Therefore, it can be said that the user management information storage unit 17 substantially stores a character string group and information indicating which item of the facility information the character string group corresponds to the user. .
- the user ID of the search request source may be specified, for example, at the time of user authentication in the stage before accepting the search request.
- the user ID may be specified as identification information of the client terminal 20 based on, for example, address information.
- the identification information of the client terminal 20 may be used as the user ID, or the user ID may be specified based on correspondence information between the identification information of the client terminal 20 and the user ID.
- the correspondence information may be stored in the auxiliary storage device 102, for example.
- the item determination unit 12 sets one character string in the character string group included in the acquired user-related information as a processing target (S105). Subsequently, the item determination unit 12 calculates the degree of coincidence between the current keyword and the character string (S106). In the following description, the degree of coincidence may be described as a score value.
- the degree of coincidence refers to the degree to which two compared character strings match or are similar.
- a known technique may be used as a method for calculating the degree of coincidence. For example, the ratio of the number of matching characters to the number of characters in the character string to be compared may be set as the matching degree.
- the item determination unit 12 determines whether or not the calculated degree of coincidence is greater than or equal to a threshold value (S107).
- the degree of coincidence is equal to or greater than the threshold (Yes in S107)
- the item determination unit 12 sets the current keyword as a candidate (address candidate) corresponding to the address item (S108).
- the matching degree is less than the threshold (No in S107)
- the current keyword is not set as an address candidate.
- the above steps S105 to S108 are executed in order for each character string included in the user-related information acquired in step S104 (S109).
- the above steps S103 to S109 are executed in order for each search keyword included in the search condition (S110). That is, each search keyword included in the search condition is compared with each character string included in the user-related information, and address candidates are extracted from the search keyword group included in the search condition. .
- the item determination unit 12 determines the presence or absence of a search keyword extracted as an address candidate (FIG. 5: S111).
- the item determination unit 12 generates a search condition using the search keyword of the address candidate as the search keyword corresponding to the address item of the facility information (S112).
- the search condition is that the search keyword is included in the value of the address item.
- a logical sum (OR) of the search keywords may be used as a search condition. That is, any search keyword may be included in the value of the address item as a search condition.
- the item determination unit 12 removes the search keyword extracted as the address candidate from the set of search keywords included in the search request (S113). That is, after step S114, the search keyword extracted as an address candidate in the above processing is not included in the processing target.
- steps S112 and S113 are not executed.
- the item determination unit 12 determines whether or not one or more search keywords included in the search request remain (S114). This is a determination as to whether or not the search keyword has disappeared due to the execution of step S113. If no search keyword remains (No in S114), the process proceeds to step S119.
- the item determination unit 12 uses the address determination information storage unit 18 to determine whether the remaining search keyword corresponds to the address item of the facility information (address Determination processing) is executed (S115). Subsequently, the item determination unit 12 performs a determination process (genre determination process) on whether or not the remaining search keywords correspond to the genre item of the facility information using the genre determination information storage unit 19 (S116). .
- the remaining search keywords in step S116 are the remaining search keywords after the execution of step S115. Accordingly, when there are no remaining search keywords as a result of the execution of step S115, step S116 is not executed.
- the item determination unit 12 generates a search condition using the search keyword as a search keyword corresponding to the item of the facility information name ( S117).
- the search conditions generated here are combined (combined) with the search conditions generated in the previous stage processing, for example, under the condition of logical product (AND). However, they may be combined under the condition of logical sum (OR).
- step S102 when there is only one search keyword (No in S102), the item determination unit 12 generates a search condition using the search keyword as a search keyword corresponding to the “name” of the facility information ( S118).
- the search unit 13 searches the information storage unit 16 for facility information that matches the search condition generated by the item determination unit 12 (S119). Subsequently, the search result reply unit 14 returns the found facility information to the client terminal 20 that is the search request source (S120).
- FIG. 7 is a flowchart for explaining an example of a processing procedure of an address determination process using the address determination information storage unit.
- step S201 the item determination unit 12 sets one search keyword among the remaining search keywords as a processing target (hereinafter referred to as “current keyword”). Subsequently, the item determination unit 12 requests the full-text search engine of the address determination information storage unit 18 to search for the current keyword, and as a search result, the matching degree (score value) for each character string that matches the current keyword. Is acquired (S202). That is, the full-text search engine searches the transposed index included in the address determination information storage unit 18 for a character string that matches the current keyword, and the character string and the matching degree between the character string and the current keyword. Is output. Note that “matching” includes not only complete matching but also partial matching.
- the item determination unit 12 determines whether or not there is a degree of coincidence that is equal to or greater than a threshold among the obtained degrees of coincidence (S203). If there is a degree of matching equal to or greater than the threshold (Yes in S203), the item determination unit 12 sets the current keyword as an address candidate (S204). On the other hand, if there is no matching degree equal to or greater than the threshold (No in 203), the current keyword is not regarded as an address candidate.
- the above steps S201 to S204 are executed in order for the remaining search keywords (S205).
- the item determination unit 12 determines whether there is a search keyword extracted as an address candidate (S206).
- the item determination unit 12 When there is a search keyword as an address candidate (Yes in S206), the item determination unit 12 generates a search condition using the search keyword having the highest degree of matching as the search keyword corresponding to the address item (S207). Therefore, when there is one search keyword as an address candidate, the one search keyword is set as a search keyword corresponding to the address item.
- the search keyword having the highest matching degree among the plurality of search keywords is set as a search keyword corresponding to the address item.
- the search conditions generated here are combined (combined) with the search conditions generated in the previous stage processing, for example, under the condition of logical product (AND). However, they may be combined under the condition of logical sum (OR).
- the item determining unit 12 removes the search keyword having the highest degree of matching from the set of search keywords remaining in the step S201 (S208).
- FIG. 8 is a flowchart for explaining an example of a processing procedure of genre determination processing using the genre determination information storage unit.
- the processing procedure of the figure is that the genre determination information storage unit 19 is used instead of the address determination information storage unit 18, and the search keyword having the highest degree of coincidence is the search keyword corresponding to the genre item of the facility information. Except for this point, the processing procedure is the same as that in FIG. Therefore, a description of each step is omitted with respect to FIG.
- the information management apparatus 10 has any one or more search keywords included (designated) included in the search request as the search target information (facility information according to the present embodiment). It is automatically determined whether it corresponds to the item, and a search is performed based on the determination result. Accordingly, it is possible to improve the operability by providing a user interface in a free word format and increase the possibility of obtaining a search result that matches the user's search intention.
- a character string group constituting an address input for each user in the past is stored in the user-related information storage unit 17, and the search keyword is determined based on a comparison between the search keyword and the character string group. It is determined whether the address item is applicable. Therefore, it is possible to determine whether or not the search keyword corresponds to the address item in consideration of the fact that the meaning of a certain word is relative depending on the user. Specifically, it is considered that the character string “Yoshino” is often used as the place name for the user A who lives in an address including the place name “Yoshino”.
- the character string “Yoshino” may be used as a part of the restaurant name.
- the character string “Yoshino” is associated with the user A in the user related information storage unit 17 but is not associated with the user B.
- “Yoshino” when the user A inputs the search keyword “Yoshino”, “Yoshino” generates a search condition as a search keyword corresponding to the address item.
- the search keyword “Yoshino” it is highly likely that “Yoshino” is determined not to be an address item but to be a “name” item.
- the example in which the user related information storage unit 17 stores the character string extracted from the address has been described. However, even if user related information is generated for other items constituting the facility information. Good. Further, user related information may be generated not only for one item but also for a plurality of items.
- the user related information regarding a plurality of items is information including, for each user, a character string group corresponding to an address and a character string group corresponding to a genre. In this case, information indicating which item each character string corresponds to may be stored in the user related information storage unit 17.
- the user related information storage unit 17 stores one or more character strings constituting an address in association with the user (user ID).
- the user ID the user's name
- the convenience that the same search result can be obtained regardless of which client terminal 20 is used is obtained.
- the user related information storage unit 17 may store one or more character strings constituting an address for each identification information of the client terminal 20.
- a user who uses a plurality of client terminals 20 may obtain different search results for each client terminal 20 to be used.
- a PC used at home, a PC used at work, and a mobile phone have the same word for a user corresponding to the client terminal 20 depending on the situation of using the home PC, work PC, or mobile phone.
- the meaning may be different. Therefore, the user-related information storage unit 17 stores one or more character strings constituting an address for each identification information of the client terminal 20, so that the information management apparatus 10 considers the situation where the user is placed. Thus, it can be determined whether or not the search keyword corresponds to the address item.
- the searched information is facility information
- other information may be used as searched information.
- user-related information may be generated in correspondence with items included in the other information.
- the information storage unit 16 is not limited to RDB (Relational Database).
- RDB Relational Database
- a full text search engine may be used.
- the document information to be subjected to full text search is, for example, a CSV file storing facility information of one facility for each line. In each row, the value of the facility information item is recorded in a comma-separated list.
- a transposed index may be generated for each item. That is, in the case of facility information according to the present embodiment, a transposed index is generated for each name, address, telephone number, genre, and position information.
- the transposed index of the name is a transposed index that stores a row including the word for each word included in each name of all facility information.
- the transposition index of an address becomes a transposition index which memorize
- the information storage unit 16 By configuring the information storage unit 16 in this way, it is possible to identify the facility information row that matches the search condition at high speed using the transposed index.
- the information management device 10 need not be limited to being realized by a single computer.
- a first computer having a search request receiving unit 11, an item determination unit 12, a user related information registration unit 15, a user related information storage unit 17, an address determination information storage unit 18, and a genre determination information storage unit 19, It may be realized by a second computer that is communicably connected to one computer and has a search unit 13, a search result reply unit 14, and an information storage unit 16.
