Abstract

The present invention relates to a circuit for balancing voltages across series connected capacitors in a power converter, said balancing circuit comprising a first and a second current path, and a switching means arranged to redistribute charges between the first and second current paths using pulsed currents during on-time of said switching means. The present invention further relates to a power converter applying said circuit and to an associated method.
