Abstract

본 발명에서는 캐리어 병합(Carrier Aggregation/Multiple Cells)을 지원하는 무선 접속 시스템에서 동기 신호 송수신 방법 및 이를 위한 장치가 개시된다. 구체적으로, 단일 캐리어로 동작하지 않으며 캐리어 병합의 일부분으로만 동작하는 확장 캐리어(extension carrier)를 통해 제1 동기 신호(Synchronization Signal)를 전송하는 단계를 포함하되, 제1 동기 신호의 전송 영역은 단일 캐리어로 동작 가능한 레가시 캐리어에서 전송되는 제2 동기 신호의 전송 영역과 상이하다.
