Abstract
A teat (2), suitable in particular for infants and made of a soft elastic material, comprises a hollow teat nipple (4) and, integrally formed thereon, a hollow base portion (6), wherein the teat nipple has a drinking slit (10) at least in an end area (8). Since the base portion (6) is provided with an inner thread (12) for screwing onto a corresponding outer thread of a beverage container, the teat can be used in particular to allow infants to consume ready-made drinks.

In aller Regel sind derartige Trinksauger aus einem weichelastischen Material wie Latex, Silikon oder thermoplastisches Elastomer gebildet und werden vorzugsweise durch Spritzgiessen gefertigt. Zur Befestigung des Trinksau- gers an einem zugehörigen Behälter werden zumeist Verbindungssysteme mit einem Dichtungsring und einem Überwurfring verwendet. Derartig ausgestaltete Trinksauger sind beispielsweise in DE 10 2007 039 355 B3 oder US 6241 1 10 B1 beschrieben. In den bislang beschriebenen Beispielen wird davon ausgegangen, dass die vom Kleinkind einzunehmende Getränke- oder Flüssignahrungsportion in einen - zumeist wiederverwendbaren - Getränkebehälter abgefüllt und ggf. dort vermischt wird. Dementsprechend sind die Getränkebehälter wie auch die zugehörigen Verbindungssysteme vergleichsweise weithalsig, d.h. für einen typischen Öff- nungsdurchmesser von ungefähr 3.5 bis 5 cm ausgelegt. Dadurch, dass der Basisabschnitt mit einem Innengewinde zum Aufschrauben auf ein entsprechendes Aussengewinde eines Getränkebehälters versehen ist, lässt sich der Trinksauger auf einen frisch geöffneten Behälter mit darin enthaltenem Fertiggetränk oder Flüssignahrungsmittel anbringen. Die Handhabe ist sehr einfach und erfordert auch keine weiteren Teile wie Dichtungen und dergleichen. Gemäss einer erfindungsgemässen Verwendung wird der oben definierte Trinksauger anstelle des Verschlusses eines abgefüllten Getränkebehälters aufgeschraubt (Anspruch 7). Insbesondere kann ein als Einwegartikel in einwandfrei- em hygienischem Zustand bereitgestellter Trinksauger direkt aus seiner Verpackung entnommen werden und auf eine soeben geöffnete Original-Getränkeflasche aufgesetzt werden, welche beispielsweise ein Fruchtsaftgetränk enthält. Namentlich kann es sich bei der besagten Getränkeflasche um eine so genannte PET-Flasche handeln. Derartige Getränkebehälter sind sehr verbreitet und auch in abgelegenen Regionen erhältlich.
Gerade bei der oben beschriebenen Verwendungsweise sind die Anforderungen an die Flüssigdichtigkeit der gebildeten Schraubverbindung vergleichsweise moderat, da ja wegen des Trinkschlitzes im Saugernippel ohnehin eine offene Situation vorliegt. Mit anderen Worten ist das Getränk bzw. die Flüssignahrung ohnehin zum sofortigen Gebrauch bestimmt. Ein Vorteil der Erfindung besteht jedoch darin, dass unter der Voraussetzung eines raschen Gebrauchs eine einfache und hygienisch einwandfreie Bereitstellung der jeweiligen Portion möglich ist. Bevorzugte Ausgestaltungen der Erfindung sind in den abhängigen Ansprüchen definiert. Grundsätzlich kann der Trinksauger aus irgendeinem für Säuglinge und Kleinkinder zugelassenen weichelastischen Material hergestellt werden. Im europäi- sehen Raum ist dies beispielsweise durch die Norm DIN EN 1400 geregelt, während im aussereuropäischen Raum weitgehend analoge Normen gelten. Vorzugsweise handelt es sich beim weichelastischen Material um Latex oder Silikon der entsprechenden Qualität (Anspruch 2). Die Wandstärke im Bereich des Saugernippels wird in aller Regel ungefähr 0.5 mm bis ungefähr 2 mm betragen, während sie im Bereich des Basisabschnitts insbesondere zur Stabilisierung des Innengewindes, eher etwas grösser, beispielsweise ungefähr 2 bis ungefähr 4 mm gewählt wird. Neben der für Kleinkind-Trinksauger erwünschten weichelastischen Eigenschaft sollte das Material eine möglichst gute Gleitfähigkeit aufweisen, um beim Aufschrauben auf einen Getränkebehälter keinen allzu grossen Reibungswiderstand hervorzurufen. Da jedoch die Gleitfähigkeit nur im Gewindebereich des Basisabschnitts erforderlich ist, kann diese vorteilhafterweise durch eine lokale Mass- nähme herbeigeführt werden. Grundsätzlich könnte hierfür beispielsweise ein geeignetes, d.h. für die Anwendung bei Trinksaugern zugelassenes Silikonfett
aufgetragen werden. Vorteilhafter ist es jedoch, die Gleitfähigkeit im Gewindebereich permanent zu verbessern. Eine solche Gleitschicht ist typischerweise 10 bis 30 pm dick und weist einen Reibungskoeffizienten auf, der im Vergleich zu unbehandeltem Silikon 50% oder weniger beträgt. Zur besseren Handhabung beim Auf- bzw. Abschrauben des Trinksaugers ist es zudem vorteilhaft, wenn ein äusserer Mantelbereich des Basisabschnitts geriffelt oder mit noppenartigen Vorsprüngen versehen ist (Anspruch 5).
Grundsätzlich lässt sich das Innengewinde des Trinksaugers in einem weiten Bereich dimensionieren. Zweckmässig ist es jedoch, das Innengewinde gemäss einer für Getränkebehälter gebräuchlichen Norm auszubilden. Bei einer bevorzugten Ausführungsform ist das Innengewinde entsprechend der Norm PC028 ausgestaltet (Anspruch 6), welche insbesondere für PET-Getränkeflaschen sehr weit verbreitet ist. Damit ergibt sich einerseits ein sehr breiter Verwendungsbereich für den Trinksauger. Darüber hinaus sind PC028 Gewinde aufgrund ihrer gerundeten Gewinderänder (beispielsweise im Vergleich zu Gewinden für Holzoder Metallsubstrate) gut geeignet für die Zusammenwirkung mit dem ver- gleichsweise weichen und elastischen Innengewinde des Trinksaugers.
