It was possible to visually recognize that the increase was. Glassine 40 was impervious to medium chain fatty acid triglycerides (MCT), propylene glycol (PG) and water (see results in Example 2). From this, glassine 40 can be used as a plug web when these liquids are used as a fragrance-containing liquid.

- Highly transparent glassine 40 had an opacity of 16.2% before dropping, and showed a change in opacity of 5% or more after dropping of medium chain fatty acid triglyceride (MCT). I was able to recognize it. In addition, the highly transparent glassine 40 was impermeable to any liquid (see the results of Example 2). Therefore, the highly transparent glassine 40 can be used as a plug web.

Abstract
Description
(a)チップペーパーおよびプラグ巻取紙が、目隠しの機能を保持しており、
(b)喫煙者が、フィルター内の香料カプセルを破砕する際に、チップペーパーおよびプラグ巻取紙を通してカプセルの位置を視覚的に認識することができ、かつ
(c)カプセル破砕後に、チップペーパーおよびプラグ巻取紙を通してカプセル内容液がフィルター内に展開したことを視覚的に認識することができる
チップペーパーおよびプラグ巻取紙を備えたシガレットを提供することを目的とする。
たばこ充填材および該たばこ充填材の周囲を巻装するたばこ巻紙を含むたばこロッドと、
たばこ充填材および該たばこ充填材の周囲を巻装するたばこ巻紙を含むたばこロッドと、
互いに離間して配置された複数のフィルタープラグと、前記フィルタープラグ間に中空部を形成するように前記フィルタープラグの周囲に巻かれたプラグ巻取紙と、前記中空部内に位置し、皮膜内に香料を含む内容液を保持した香料カプセルとを含むフィルターと、
前記たばこロッドと前記フィルターとを接続するように該たばこロッドと該フィルター上に巻かれたチップペーパーと
を含み、
前記プラグ巻取紙が、内容液に対して不透過性を有し、
前記プラグ巻取紙および前記チップペーパーから構成される積層紙の不透明度が、(i) 香料カプセルの破壊前に70%以下であり、(ii) 香料カプセルの破壊によって放出された内容液がプラグ巻取紙に付着した際に、5%以上低下することを特徴とするシガレット
が提供される。
(a)チップペーパーおよびプラグ巻取紙は、目隠しの機能を保持しており、
(b)喫煙者が、フィルター内の香料カプセルを破砕する際に、チップペーパーおよびプラグ巻取紙を通してカプセルの位置を視覚的に認識することができ、かつ
(c)カプセル破砕後に、カプセル内容液によりプラグ巻取紙にしみを発生させ、これにより、カプセル内容液がフィルター内に展開したことを視覚的に認識することができる。
プラグ巻取紙と試験紙を重ね合わせて積層紙を形成し、試験紙の側から積層紙の不透明度を測定し、
プラグ巻取紙の側からカプセル内容液を滴下し、試験紙の側から積層紙の不透明度を測定し、
カプセル内容液の滴下前の不透明度からカプセル内容液の滴下後の不透明度を引き算することにより不透明度の差を求め、
前記差が10%以下である場合に、プラグ巻取紙は、カプセル内容液に対して不透過性を有すると評価され、前記差が10%を超える場合に、プラグ巻取紙は、カプセル内容液に対して不透過性を有していないと評価される(後述の実施例2を参照)。したがって、本発明において「不透過性を有する」とは、完全な不透過性を有する場合に加えて、不透過性を有するがごくわずかな浸透性がみられる場合も包含する(後述の表3参照)。ここでの不透明度の測定も、JIS P8138A(1976年)に従って行う。ここで使用される「試験紙」は、液体がプラグ巻取紙を透過した際にその液体を吸収することができるろ紙としての機能を有する不透明な紙であり、たとえば、不透明度80以上の厚さ33~53μmの紙を使用することができ、例として37白原紙(日本製紙パピリア株式会社)を挙げることができる。
プラグ巻取紙とチップペーパーを重ね合わせて積層紙を形成し、チップペーパーの側から積層紙の不透明度を測定し、
プラグ巻取紙の側からカプセル内容液を滴下し、チップペーパーの側から積層紙の不透明度を測定し、
カプセル内容液の滴下前の不透明度からカプセル内容液の滴下後の不透明度を引き算することにより不透明度の差を求める(後述の実施例3を参照)。ここでの不透明度の測定も、JIS P8138A(1976年)に従って行う。本発明では、このようにして求められる不透明度の差が5%以上であり、好ましくは5~30%、より好ましくは10~30%である。不透明度の差が5%未満である場合、積層紙の不透明度の低下が十分でなく、カプセルの破壊により放出されたカプセル内容液がフィルター中空部内に広がったことを認識することが困難である。
本実施例では、本発明のシガレットの香料カプセルをつぶした前とつぶした後において、香料カプセルを視覚的に認識できるかどうかを評価した。
フィルターA~Fのプラグ巻取紙として、下記商品名の紙を使用した。括弧内に入手先、紙の種類を記す。
不透明度30~35%、平滑度800~1000sec、灰分0~5%
フィルターB:25.8薄口白色グラシン(日本製紙パピリア株式会社;グラシン紙)
不透明度20~25%、平滑度1000~1200sec、灰分0~5%
フィルターC:50NFB(耐油紙)(日本製紙パピリア株式会社;耐油紙)
不透明度75~80%、平滑度30~130sec、灰分1~2%
フィルターD:グラファン35gsm(王子特殊紙株式会社;グラシン紙)
不透明度5~15%、平滑度1500~2000sec、灰分0~5%
フィルターE:P-10000C(高通気度不織布)(日本製紙パピリア株式会社;高通気度不織布)
不透明度40~50%、平滑度8~10sec、灰分0~3%
フィルターF:NatureFlex 42μ(透明フィルム)(Innovia社;透明セロハン)
不透明度1.0~2.0%、平滑度3500~4000sec
フィルターG:JT高透明グラシン40(日本製紙パピリア株式会社;グラシン紙)
不透明度15~25%、平滑度1500sec以上、灰分0~5%
2.フィルターの製造
上記プラグ巻取紙を用いて、図2に示されるフィルターを製造した。フィルターは、刻側(左側)のフィルタープラグ21a、吸口側(右側)のフィルタープラグ21b、プラグ巻取紙22、および香料カプセル23から構成される。
上述のとおり製造されたフィルターを使用して、図3に示されるシガレットを製造した。シガレットは、「たばこロッド10」と「フィルター20」と「チップペーパー30」から構成される。
香料カプセルの視認性(視認レベル)を目視で評価した。評価は、23℃、湿度50%、標準光源下で実施した。
本実施例では、種々のプラグ巻取紙の液体不透過性を評価した。
プラグ巻取紙として、下記の紙を使用した。括弧内に商品名、入手先、紙の種類を記す。
不透明度65~75%、平滑度80~140sec、灰分8~12%
(2)N250(N250;日本製紙パピリア株式会社;普通紙)
不透明度40~50%、平滑度100~140sec、灰分5%以下
(3)NPWS(NPWS-OLL;日本製紙パピリア株式会社;普通紙)
不透明度45~55%、平滑度150~190sec、灰分5%以下
(4)P10000C(P-10000C;日本製紙パピリア株式会社;高通気度不織布)
不透明度40~50%、平滑度8~10sec、灰分0~3%
(5)P20000C(P-20000C;日本製紙パピリア株式会社;高通気度不織布)
不透明度35~45%、平滑度1~4sec、灰分0~3%
(6)NatureFlex 23μ(NatureFlex 23μ;Innovia;透明セロハン)

2.評価方法
添加液体として、中鎖脂肪酸トリグリセリド(MCT)(トリカプリル/カプリン酸グリセリン)、プロピレングリコール(PG)、および水を使用した。
プラグ巻取紙をチップペーパー(37白原紙;日本製紙パピリア株式会社)(試験紙)と重ね合わせ、得られた積層紙の不透明度(%)を、チップペーパー側からHunter法(JIS P 8138A)により測定した。
上述の積層紙のプラグ巻取紙側に、液体を70μl滴下した。液体滴下から2分後、プラグ巻取紙の表面に残っている液体をふき取った。その後、チップペーパー側から不透明度(%)をHunter法(JIS P 8138A)により測定した。
1.評価方法
本実施例では、実施例2で使用したプラグ巻取紙を、透明チップペーパーNatureFlex 23μと重ね合わせて、液体の付着による不透明度の変化を評価した。実施例2で使用したのと同じ液体を滴下し、実施例2と同様の手法で評価を行った。

Claims (7)
- たばこ充填材および該たばこ充填材の周囲を巻装するたばこ巻紙を含むたばこロッドと、
互いに離間して配置された複数のフィルタープラグと、前記フィルタープラグ間に中空部を形成するように前記フィルタープラグの周囲に巻かれたプラグ巻取紙と、前記中空部内に位置し、皮膜内に香料を含む内容液を保持した香料カプセルとを含むフィルターと、
前記たばこロッドと前記フィルターとを接続するように該たばこロッドと該フィルター上に巻かれたチップペーパーと
を含み、
前記プラグ巻取紙が、内容液に対して不透過性を有し、
前記プラグ巻取紙および前記チップペーパーから構成される積層紙の不透明度が、(i) 香料カプセルの破壊前に70%以下であり、(ii) 香料カプセルの破壊によって放出された内容液がプラグ巻取紙に付着した際に、5%以上低下することを特徴とするシガレット。 - 前記チップペーパーが透明であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のシガレット。
- 前記プラグ巻取紙が、
プラグ巻取紙と試験紙を重ね合わせて積層紙を形成し、試験紙の側から積層紙の不透明度を測定し、
プラグ巻取紙の側から内容液を滴下し、試験紙の側から積層紙の不透明度を測定し、
内容液の滴下前の不透明度と滴下後の不透明度の差を求めたときに、
前記差が10%以下であることを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載のシガレット。 - 前記プラグ巻取紙および前記チップペーパーから構成される積層紙の不透明度が、(i) 香料カプセルの破壊前に40%以下であり、(ii) 香料カプセルの破壊によって放出された内容液がプラグ巻取紙に付着した際に、10%以上低下することを特徴とする、請求項1~3の何れか1項に記載のシガレット。
- 前記プラグ巻取紙が、5~40%の不透明度、500~2500secの平滑度、および0~5%の灰分を有することを特徴とする、請求項1~4の何れか1項に記載のシガレット。
- 前記プラグ巻取紙が、グラシン紙またはパーチメント紙であることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載のシガレット。
- 前記プラグ巻取紙が、内側表面に、撥水性または撥油性を有する領域を備えていることを特徴とする、請求項1~6の何れか1項に記載のシガレット。
