Abstract
The present invention relates to a Cu-Co alloy dendrite electrode for a biosensor capable of detecting glucose or hydrogen peroxide with high sensitivity, and to a biosensor including the electrode. More particularly, the biosensor comprises: a reference electrode; a counter electrode; and a working electrode, wherein the working electrode is a Cu-Co alloy dendrite electrode formed on a glassy carbon electrode or on a copper plate through an electrodeposition performed at an electric potential of -0.6V to -1.2V for 300 to 700 seconds. The Cu-Co alloy dendrite electrode according to the present invention may exhibit excellent catalytic activity for glucose oxidation and hydrogen peroxide reduction, and thus can be valuably used as an electrode for a biosensor capable of detecting glucose or hydrogen peroxide at low concentrations.
