Abstract

Disclosed herein is a high voltage transformer in which high voltage conversion units are disposed around magnetic cores that are located to face each other. In the high voltage transformer, at least one of the high voltage conversion units is configured such that a ground voltage is located at a center portion between both side ends of the high voltage conversion unit and the high voltage conversion unit supports a voltage that starts to increase from either one of both side ends. Furthermore, the high voltage conversion units facing each other are disposed to realize an electric potential difference.
