Abstract

The present invention relates to a bundle of bulrush (genus Typha) fibers, and more specifically, to a method for manufacturing a bundle of bulrush fibers for reinforcing a composite bio-material, and a composite bio-material using the same. The method for manufacturing a bundle of bulrush fibers of the present invention does not use a chlorine-based bleaching agent at all in the bleaching step, and is thus environmentally friendly and can manufacture a bundle of bulrush fibers which is clean and completely odorless. If using the bundle of bulrush fibers of the present invention as a composite bio-material, it is possible to produce a high quality reinforcing material with low costs compared to other non-wood fibers, and to expect additional effects such as water purification and the like.
