Abstract
스킵 모드(skip mode)를 이용하는 부호화 방법에 있어서, 현재 예측 단위와 관련된 적어도 하나의 예측 단위들을 이용하여 현재 예측 단위에 대한 복수 개의 모션 정보 후보를 획득하고, 복수 개의 모션 정보 후보 중에서 최고 확률 예측 후보(most probable predictor candidate)를 결정하고, 현재 예측 단위의 예측 모드가 결정된 최고 확률 예측 후보를 이용하는 최고 확률 스킵 모드(most probable skip mode)인 경우 최고 확률 스킵 모드를 나타내는 플래그를 부호화하는 부호화 방법이 제공된다.
