Abstract

The invention relates to an integrated system for capturing, processing and representing a three-dimensional image for interchangeable-lens cameras. The system can be used to convert any interchangeable-lens camera into a 3D camera and said system displays the results in such a way that the user does not experience visual fatigue. The system comprises a portable system that is coupled to a traditional interchangeable-lens camera. The invention also includes: a method for calibrating the image acquired; a method for generating a set of refocused images with superresolution, distance calculation and view point generation; and a method for adapting the above-mentioned results using suitable algorithms and subsequently projecting same on a monitor based on positioning microlenses in front of a traditional display.
