  • the creasing device 10 also comprises pre-creasing means 41 disposed upstream of the first disc 32 in the work direction F, and configured to perform a pre-creasing operation that progressively deforms the material of the sheet to be worked before it is subjected to creasing proper, therefore preventing the material from exploding during the creasing operation.
  • the lead-in surface 43 is shaped according to a profile with a desired geometry, advantageously a curvilinear segment, preferably a circular segment, which simulates and on the whole reproduces a segment of a much larger creasing disc normally used in industrial machines, generally with a diameter that can reach as much as 900 mm, thus obtaining the desired effect as described above, but without the weight, cost and bulk of discs used in industrial machines.
