Abstract

휘도 샘플을 이용한 색차 블록의 화면 내 예측 방법 및 이러한 방법을 사용하는 장치가 개시되어 있다. 영상 복호화 방법은 색차 블록이 LM을 사용한 경우 LM 매핑 테이블을 기초로 상기 색차 블록의 화면 내 예측 모드를 산출하는 단계와 산출된 상기 색차 블록의 화면 내 예측 모드를 기초로 상기 색차 블록의 예측 블록을 생성하는 단계를 포함할 수 있다. 색차 블록의 화면 내 예측 모드 정보를 복호함에 있어 LM 사용여부에 따라 서로 다른 매핑 테이블을 사용함으로서 불필요한 비트의 낭비가 없도록 부복호화를 수행할 수 있다.
