Abstract

L'invention porte sur des lentilles de contact en hydrogel de silicone de faible module. Les lentilles sont dérivées d'une composition polymérisable qui comprend un premier monomère siloxane représenté par la formule (1) : dans laquelle m représente un nombre entier allant de 3 à 10, n représente un nombre entier allant de 1 à 10, R1 représente un groupe alkyle ayant de 1 à 4 atomes de carbone et chaque R² représente indépendamment soit un atome d'hydrogène, soit un groupe méthyle ; les lentilles comprenant également des motifs issus d'un second monomère siloxane et/ou au moins un agent de réticulation. Le module moyen des lentilles de contact en hydrogel de silicone est d'environ 0,30 MPa à environ 0,90 MPa lorsque les lentilles sont totalement hydratées. L'invention porte également sur des compositions pour lentilles de contact en hydrogel de silicone et sur des procédés de fabrication de lentilles de contact en hydrogel de silicone.
