Abstract
According to one embodiment of the invention, a testing device is provided for testing test objects made of high-temperature-resistant material. By means of a flame spray gun and a test object holder, a gas jet is generated which is used for simulation of high temperature conditions. For this purpose the flame spray gun is closed blind such that no spray additive, that is to say no spray additive material, enters the flame spray gun. Thus, it is possible to simulate temperature and pressure conditions as same exist in the exhaust gas areas of spacecraft drives.
