Abstract

The present invention relates to a method and server for providing a search advertisement, which interests a searcher using battle structures between a plurality of items extracted in association with a search term, determining exposure positions of the plurality of advertisement items by reflecting the battle results during a specific time, and providing the searcher with the advertisement items according to the determined exposure positions, thereby maximizing an advertisement effect and preventing fraudulent clicks. The method of providing a search advertisement according to an embodiment of the present invention may comprise the steps of: receiving, by a receiver of the advertisement providing server, a certain search term from a searcher; providing, by a battle-space providing unit of the advertisement providing server, the searcher with a battle space where a plurality of advertisement items associated with the certain search word and including link information compete during a first time zone; arranging, by a display unit of the advertisement providing server, the plurality of advertisement items in the battle space during the first time zone; determining, by a battle ranking determining unit, battle rankings during the first time zone of the plurality of advertisement items; determining exposure positions of the plurality of advertisement items in the battle space corresponding to the determined battle rankings; and arranging, by the display unit of the advertisement providing server, the plurality of advertisement items in the battle space during a second time zone according to the determined exposure position.
