Abstract

A blade pitch control device for a wind turbine, the device comprising: a first plate fixedly secured with respect to the wind turbine; a second plate attached to the first plate and movable with respect to the first plate; a linking means adapted to attach the second plate to the first plate; and a blade abutting means adapted to change the pitch angle of a blade on the wind turbine. The linking means being operable to move the second plate with respect to the first plate, and the blade abutting means is operable to change the pitch angle of the blade according to a position of the second plate with respect to the first plate.
