Abstract

One embodiment of the present invention relates to a method and a device for predicting a color space using a plurality of frequency domain weighting prediction filters, and to a method and a device for encoding/decoding an image using same. According to one embodiment, the present invention provides the device and the method for predicting the color space comprising: a prediction weight calculating unit for determining a weighted block from the encoded/decoded peripheral blocks of the current block, and for calculating the prediction weight for each of the frequency domains using the weighted block; a prediction frequency selection unit for calculating a prediction gain for each of the frequency domains from the prediction weight for each of the frequency domains, and for selecting the frequency domain to be used for predicting the color space by using the prediction gain for each of the frequency domains; and a frequency domain prediction unit for receiving remaining transformed blocks, and for predicting the color space in the remaining transformed blocks from the prediction gain of the selected frequency domain. The present invention also provides the device and the method for predicting the color space and the method and the device for encoding/decoding the image using same, comprising: the prediction weight calculating unit for determining the weighted block from the encoded/decoded peripheral blocks of the current block, and for calculating the prediction weight for each of the frequency domains using the current weighted block; the prediction frequency selection unit for calculating the prediction gain for each of the frequency domains from the prediction weight for each of the frequency domains, and for selecting the frequency domain to be used for predicting the color space by using the prediction gain for each of the frequency domains; and a frequency domain recovery unit for recovering the remaining transformed blocks from the color space prediction block using the prediction gain of the selected frequency domain.
