Abstract

A method for realizing netmeeting based on peer-to-peer technique on web page is provided by the embodiments of the present invention. The method includes the following steps: a meeting organizer creates a meeting; all the meeting participants open a web page and load a flash, wherein the flash connects to a P2P server; the meeting organizer sends data to one of the meeting participants and the participant who receives the data sends the data to another participant, until all the participants receive the data. The method enables the netmeeting based on peer-to-peer on web page and builds direct connections among the participants, therefore reducing the bandwidth pressure of the server and improving the communication efficiency of the netmeeting and the utilization of the network.
