Abstract

An electric power supply apparatus for a vehicle includes: a plurality of electricity storage devices (B1, B2) configured to connect to an electric load (120, 130) in series; a plurality of relays (R1, R3, R4, R5) provided on an electric conduction pathway interconnecting the electric load and the electricity storage devices, corresponding to positive and negative electrodes of the electricity storage devices; and a controller (300) that controls the relays. The controller outputs to the relays a first signal for causing one of the relays, as a determination-object relay, to be in a non-conductive state and causing relays other than the determination-object relay to be in a conductive state. Then, the controller executes a determination process of determining whether or not the determination-object relay has been fused, based on a first voltage that is output from the electricity storage devices to the electric load when the first signal is output.
