Abstract

Es wird eine Schaltung für eine Batterie zur Verfügung gestellt, welche eine Anzahl n von zwischen ein positives Batterieterminal (12) und ein negatives Batterieterminal (13) in Serie geschalteten Batteriezellen (10-1,..., 10-n) umfasst. Die Anzahl n ist eine natürliche Zahl größer 1. Durch die Serienschaltung der n Batteriezellen (10-1,..., 10-n) ergibt sich eine Anzahl von (n-1) Verbindungspunkten (11 -1,..., 11 -n-1 ) zwischen den n Batteriezellen (10-1,..., 10-n). Die Schaltung umfasst ein Entladeelement (30), das einen mit einer ersten Entladeleitung (14-1) verbundenen oder verbindbaren ersten Anschluss und einen mit einer zweiten Entladeleitung (14-2) verbundenen oder verbindbaren zweiten Anschluss aufweist. Erfindungsgemäß besitzt die Schaltung eine Anzahl von (n+1) Schaltern (20-1,..., 20-n+1 ), die an einem ersten Anschluss mit jeweils einem der (n-1) Verbindungspunkte (11-1,..., 11-n-1 ) beziehungsweise einem von positivem und negativem Batterieterminal (12; 13) verbindbar und an einem zweiten Anschluss mit einer der ersten oder zweiten Entladeleitung (14-1; 14-2) verbunden sind. Auf diese Weise sind ein positiver Pol einer jeweiligen Batteriezelle (10-1,..., 10-n) über einen der Schalter (20-1,..., 20-n+1 ) mit einer jeweils ausgewählten der ersten oder der zweiten Entladeleitung (14-1; 14-2) und ein negativer Pol der jeweiligen Batteriezelle (10-1,..., 10-n) über einen der Schalter (20-1,..., 20-n+1) mit einer verbleibenden der ersten oder der zweiten Entladeleitung (14-1; 14-2) verbindbar. Ferner wird eine Batterie mit einer solchen Schaltung vorgeschlagen.
