Abstract

La présente invention porte sur un équipement (1) et sur le procédé associé pour la réalisation de la couture de poches décalées superposées dans un portefeuille ou un porte-document à l'aide d'une machine à coudre. La machine à coudre comporte une tête de couture (2) et un plan de couture (14) qui peut se déplacer par rapport à la tête de couture et sur lequel deux ou plus de deux feuilles de matériau à coudre peuvent être disposées. Selon l'invention, l'équipement comprend un dispositif (5, 6, 7, 9, 15) configuré pour pouvoir être appliqué d'une manière intégrale sur le plan de couture (14) de la machine à coudre. Ledit dispositif comprend une unité de blocage (5, 6, 7), mobile, en utilisation, par rapport au plan de couture (14) entre une position levée à partir du plan de couture (14) et une position abaissée sensiblement en contact avec le plan de couture et pouvant en outre se déplacer en translation de manière parallèle au plan de couture. De cette manière, en correspondance avec la position abaissée, l'unité de blocage finit par être disposée sur le plan de couture, bloquant les feuilles de matériau à coudre et, suite au retour dans la position levée à l'extrémité de la couture, l'unité se déplace en translation de façon à permettre au bloc subséquent d'une feuille supplémentaire d'être superposé sur les feuilles cousues auparavant.
