Abstract

The present invention relates to a solar photovoltaic device and to a control method therefor. Provided is a solar photovoltaic device comprising: a solar cell array unit comprising a plurality of solar cell arrays for converting incident light energy from the sun into electrical energy and outputting the same; a voltage-adjusting unit which is connected to an output terminal of the solar cell array unit, and which effects output by receiving input in the form of a direct current power source output from the solar cell array unit and converting the same to a predetermined output voltage; a DC junction box which is provided between an output terminal of the voltage-adjusting unit and an input terminal of an inverter, and prevents reverse current flowing to the solar cell array unit; the inverter which receives input in the form of a direct-current power source output via the DC junction box and converts and then outputs the same as an alternating-current power source; a monitoring unit which judges whether there are any abnormalities by detecting the voltage, current and power of the solar cell array unit, DC junction box and inverter; and a control unit which controls the actions of the solar cell array unit, voltage-adjusting unit and inverter. Also provided is a control method for the solar photovoltaic device.
