Abstract

개시된 내용은 LED 정전류 구동장치에 관한 것으로서, 전원을 공급하는 전원부와, 하나 이상의 LED가 직렬로 연결되어 있으며, 전원부로부터 공급되는 전원을 이용하여 발광하는 LED부와, LED부의 출력단에 연결되며, LED부에 흐르는 전류를 검출하는 전류검출부와, 전류검출부에서 검출된 전류신호를 기설정된 제 1 기준신호와 비교하고, 비교 결과에 따른 오차신호를 증폭, 출력하는 오차증폭부와, 직렬로 구성된 LED부의 하나 이상의 LED에 연결되고, 오차증폭부에서 증폭, 출력된 오차신호를 기설정된 제 2 기준신호와 각각 비교하며, 비교 결과를 토대로 순차구동 제어신호를 발생시켜 연결되어 있는 LED부의 각 LED의 발광 또는 오프 구동을 제어하는 복수의 순차구동 제어부를 포함한다. 따라서, 본 발명은 정현파 전원을 사용하는 회로에서 고역율의 조명기기를 구성할 수 있고, 종래에서와 같이 전해 콘덴서를 사용하지 않기 때문에 조명기기의 수명을 증대시키며, 회로를 간단하게 구성할 수 있으므로 저가의 조명기기를 제작할 수 있다.
