Abstract
The present invention relates to a turbocharger actuator, which comprises: an actuator section provided with a piston rod that reciprocates according to an engine state; and a position sensor section for sensing the piston rod. The position sensor section includes: a cover body mounted at the upper portion of the actuator section; an insert body integrally formed into the cover body and formed with a through-hole; a shaft mounted into the though-hole to be able to reciprocate; a magnet provided in the shaft; and a terminal assembly having a hall sensor responding to the magnetic force of the magnet, wherein the actuator section is integrated into the lower side of the cover body. Therefore, the state of a turbocharger is detected by only the magnet and the hall sensor, so that it is possible to reduce manufacturing costs and a malfunction rate of a product via the simplification of components. In addition, the sensor section for detection is integrally over-molded into the components of a product, so that it is possible to prevent malfunction due to vibration or moisture inflow so as to improve durability.
