It is disclosed that in said cable winding machine the cable is wound on the core of the reel head of the device, the end piece of the cable is secured by means of the weight of the wound coil, the wound coil advances on the support and meanwhile, the end piece of the wound coil is located between the support and the wound cable coil, and thus the cable coil is saved from the danger of becoming untied.

  • An object of the invention is to realize the cable winding process within the shortest time possible and with the lowest possible cost. Another object of the invention is to enable winding of the cables in spool and coil form with various diameters in the machine.

  • Said invention is a machine performing the winding of the cables in spool and coil form, said machine essentially comprising the winding station with at least two winding heads (3, 11) capable of winding spools and coils, which winding heads are located on the same plane and are symmetrical to each other, at least two stretch film wrapping mechanisms for securing the end of the wound cable that remains outside the spool or coil with the stretch film (7, 17) made of such materials as polyethylene, PVC, etc., and at least two rotational pliers (6, 16), which wrap and secure the stretch film (7, 17) around the spool or coil and also, hold the terminal end of the material cut in the spool or coil, during said process.
  • Winding stations and rotational holder pliers mechanisms (6, 16) may be located on the horizontal plane with the winding heads (3, 1 1) being located in the upper part and the rotational holder pliers (6, 16) being located in the lower part, and it is also possible for the winding heads (3, 1 1) to be located in the lower part and the rotational holder pliers (6, 16) to be located in the upper part or they may be placed on any plane.
  • the operation of the invention whose detailed view is presented in Figure-1 , occurs in two ways in which the cable is wound in the form of a spool or coil according to the parameters previously determined on the machine.
  • the empty spools (9 and 13) coming from the spool feeding unit are placed on the winding heads (3 and 1 1 ) by means of the spool fitting pliers (8 and 15).
  • Cable (5) is placed into the channel (19) of the spool (9) (for which the detailed view is provided in Figure-4) present on the first winding head (3), and it is cut and secured at the core of the spool (9) by means of the cutting and cable holding mechanisms such as the specially designed cutter knife (20), the shoe inflatable with pressure (21 ), cable holder shoe (22) whose detailed views are provided in Figure-5, 6 and 7.

  • the special knife (20) descends to cut the cable (5) and holds the cable by its other end (5.2) seen in Figure-6 and secures the same to the spool (13), and the winding head (1 1 ) continues winding the cable (5).

  • the rotational holder pliers (6) leave the cable (5) at the point closest to the underside of the stretch film (7), or, if the terminal end of the cable (5) is to be left outside the stretch film (7) in a controlled manner for the purpose of enabling the measurements, the rotational holder •pliers (6), as seen in Figure-8, rotate at the same speed as the winding head (3) until the end of the stretch film wrapping process, hold the terminal end of the cable (5) and leave the cable (5) outside the stretch film (7).
  • the rotational holder pliers (6) first move in the vertical direction, then reach at the position suitable for cutting the stretch film (7), and move again downwards in the vertical direction, thus cutting the stretch film (7).
  • the spool (9) wrapped on the outside thereof with the stretch film (7) is driven by the removal mechanism (10) onto the outlet conveyor (18).
  • a new empty spool (9) is fitted by the spool fitting pliers (6) on the first winding head (3) that has now become emptied.
  • the coil winding heads (27) shown in Figure 11 are fitted to the machine (in order to form the coil core), said coil winding heads being able to narrow and widen. Then, upon starting the first winding head (3), the packing process in coil form begins and proceeds and ends in the manner described above.

  • the spools (9 and 13) with a slotted core (19) ( Figure-4) according to the invention, the beginning end of the cable is enabled to be fitted on the core of the spool by means of the cutter knife (20) and the holder as shown in Figure-5, thus enabling a very short time for fitting the cable end.

  • the same knife and holder structure also allow the cable to be wound in coil form on the same winding head.
  • the terminal end of the cable may be left outside the spool or coil for the purpose of measurement and quality control.

Abstract

L'invention divulgue une machine d'enroulement de câble qui exécute des procédés d'enroulement du type en rouleau et en bobine dans la même machine, caractérisée en ce qu'elle comprend la station d'enroulement qui exécute à la fois l'enroulement en rouleau et en bobine et qui présente au moins deux têtes d'enroulement qui sont symétriques l'une à l'autre, pour exécuter le procédé d'enroulement ; les bobines pourvues d'un canal à utiliser dans le procédé d'enroulement en forme de bobine, et l'élément de connexion de tête et les têtes de rouleau capables de rétrécir et de s'élargir à utiliser dans le procédé d'enroulement en mode rouleau ; également au moins deux mécanismes d'enveloppement de film étirable pour fixer l'extrémité de la matière enroulée qui reste à l'extérieur de la bobine ou du rouleau, le film étirable étant constitué d'une matière telle que le polyéthylène, le PVC, etc. ; et au moins deux pinces de support rotatives qui enveloppent la bobine ou le rouleau avec le film étirable afin de permettre sa fixation, et également pour maintenir l'extrémité terminale de la matière coupée dans la bobine ou le rouleau pendant ledit procédé.
