Abstract

Un equipo de tórax para la aplicación de campo electromagnético en el tratamiento de lesiones crónicas, el cual consiste en un dispositivo tipo silla con respaldo y asiento que se puede posicionar de manera automática por medio de motores que hacen actuar émbolos de desplazamiento lineal, el equipo completo está controlado por medio de una PC y una interface visual que permite desplegar datos del historial clínico del paciente, el expediente clínico, monitoreo de lesiones en cuanto a la reducción de su tamaño después de aplicar el tratamiento; el campo magnético es generado por medio de dos bobinas Helmholtz rectangulares colocadas en los costados del tórax, la interface se comunica con la PC mediante USB y esta posee una serie de puertos de entrada y salida para comunicarse con los actuadores, generadores de campo y microcontrolador.
