Abstract

본 발명은 건축물 이미지의 계층적 매칭 방법, 시스템 및 컴퓨터 판독 가능한 기록 매체에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 일 태양에 따르면, 건축물 이미지의 계층적 매칭 방법으로서, (a) 쿼리로서 입력된 건축물 이미지에 포함되어 있는 특정 건축물의 벽면을 적어도 하나의 파노라마 이미지에 포함되어 있는 건축물의 벽면과 매칭하는 단계; (b) 건축물들의 벽면에 대한 매칭 결과 파노라마 이미지 중에서 특정 건축물과 동일 또는 유사한 벽면을 가지는 것으로 인식되는 건축물을 포함하고 있는 후보 파노라마 이미지를 선별하는 단계; (c) 특정 건축물에 포함되어 있는 국부적 영역을 후보 파노라마 이미지의 해당 건축물에 포함되어 있는 국부적 영역과 매칭하는 단계; 및 (d) 국부적 영역에 대한 매칭 결과, 후보 파노라마 이미지 중에서 매칭의 정확도가 높은 상위 n개의 파노라마 이미지를 결정하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법이 제공된다.
