Description

Mobile communication method, radio base station, and gateway device
The present invention relates to a mobile communication method, a radio base station, and a gateway device.
In an E-UTRAN mobile communication system, a mobile station UE connected to a radio base station HeNB (Home eNodeB) operated in the “Hybrid Access” method or the “Closed Access” method performs an Attach process. When performing a service request process or a handover process, the switching center MME checks whether the mobile station UE has an access right to a CSG (Closed Subscriber Group) cell under the radio base station HeNB. It is configured to perform “Accessibility Check”.
Referring to FIG. 8, an example of such “Accessibility Check” will be briefly described.
図8に示すように、無線基地局eNB配下のセルに在圏している移動局UEは、無線基地局eNBに対して、PCI(Physical Cell ID)のみを含む「Measurement Report(ステップS1001A)」、或いは、PCI及びE-CGI(E-UTRA Cell Global ID)を含む「Measurement Report(ステップS1001B)」を送信する。 As shown in FIG. 8, the mobile station UE residing in a cell under the radio base station eNB transmits “Measurement Report (step S1001A)” including only PCI (Physical Cell ID) to the radio base station eNB. Alternatively, “Measurement Report (step S1001B)” including PCI and E-CGI (E-UTRA Cell Global ID) is transmitted.
When the radio base station eNB determines to perform a handover from the radio base station eNB to the radio base station HeNB2 of the mobile station UE based on the received “Measurement Report”, the PCI included in the “Measurement Report” (step S1002A) ) Or e-CGI (step S1002B), the eNB-ID “yyy.001” of the handover target radio base station HeNB2 is determined, and in step S1003, the eNB-ID “yyy.001” of the radio base station HeNB2 is determined. "HO Required" including "is transmitted to the exchange MME.
In step S1004, the switching center MME refers to the “eNB-ID ← → CSG-ID table” and corresponds to the eNB-ID “yyy.001” of the radio base station HeNB2 included in the received “HO Required”. By extracting CSG-ID “# 31” and checking whether CSG-ID “# 31” is included in “UE CSG Subscription info” for mobile station UE, “Accessibility” for mobile station UE “Check”.
The exchange MME, when establishing the S1 connection with each radio base station HeNB, includes a combination of eNB-ID and CSG-ID of the radio base station HeNB “eNB-ID ← → CSG-ID table. “Open” mode is a mode in which the use is permitted for all mobile stations UE, similarly to the macro cell.
Here, when the access mode of the cell under the handover target radio base station HeNB is the “Closed” mode or the “Hybrid” mode, the handover source radio base station eNB performs “Accessibility Check” for the mobile station UE to be handed over. When the access mode of the cell under the handover destination radio base station HeNB is the “Open” mode, it is not necessary to perform “Accessibility Check” for the mobile station UE to be handed over It may be configured to determine.

Here, for example, as illustrated in FIG. 7, when the radio base station eNB determines that the S1 handover should be performed, the radio base station eNB determines that the switching center MME should perform “Accessibility Check” for the mobile station UE. It may be configured to. In such a case, the operation of the mobile communication system according to the third modification is the operation illustrated in FIG. 1 or FIG.
In addition, for example, as illustrated in FIG. 7, when the radio base station eNB determines that the X2 handover should be performed via the gateway device HeNB-GW, the radio base station eNB does not perform “Accessibility Check” for the mobile station UE. It may be configured to determine.
In addition, a node configured to perform “Accessibility Check”, such as the switching center MME and the gateway device HeNB-GW, in the above-mentioned “eNB-ID ← → CSG-ID table” or the like, is the handover destination radio base station The access mode of the cell under HeNB may be managed, and it may be configured to determine whether or not “Accessibility Check” should be performed on the above-described handover target mobile station UE.
