Abstract

The invention relates to a sanitary facility essentially consisting of a toilet bowl (2), the top edge (13) of which takes the form of a symmetrical curve having a slightly widening U shape. The plane of said edge (13) is inclined toward the rear (Ar) and is conducive to a squatting position, wherein said bowl (2) is characterized by two side inlets (19) enabling the contact, by the hands or a handheld shower head, with the private parts, in particular the anus, and by an opening (82) in the rear portion of the hollow area (24) of said bowl so as to enable hygienic care, in particular of the urogenital system. The seating angle is controllable due to a lid (3) that is attached to the bowl (2), at the furthest front end thereof, by a hinge (4). Said lid has a vertical default position for receiving the user by the buttocks or the bottom of the thighs. The lid (3) is supported from below by two dashpots (7). A faucet is installed on the lid in order to provide the water necessary for cleaning.
