Abstract

Une installation de séparation d'air par distillation cryogénique comprend une double colonne de séparation d'air,une ligne d'échange (91), un surpresseur chaud (C1)et un surpresseur froid (C2), une première turbine (T1) et une deuxième turbine (T2), chacune couplée à un des surpresseurs, des moyens pour porter tout l'air à une haute pression plus élevée que la moyenne pression et des moyens pour l'épurer à cette haute pression, des moyens pour diviser l'air épuré en deux fractions et pour en envoyer une fraction au surpresseur chaud et une fraction au surpresseur froid après refroidissement dans la ligne d'échange, des moyens pour réintroduire la deuxième fraction d'air provenant du surpresseur froid dans la ligne d'échange, des moyens pour envoyer au moins un liquide pressurisé provenant d'une des colonnes dans la ligne d'échange, une vanne (4,5), des moyens pour envoyer de l'air épuré à la haute pression et non surpressé à la ligne d'échange pour s'y refroidir et ensuite à la vanne et des moyens pour envoyer l'air détendu dans la vanne à la distillation et/ou à l'atmosphère.
