- the other resource elements 301-5 are resource elements to which signals other than LTE-A reference signals (data signals, control signals, LTE reference signals, demodulation reference signals, etc.) are mapped.
- Resource elements 301-1 to 301-4 indicate resource elements to which reference signals corresponding to ports 1 to 4, which are different ports (logical ports and antenna ports), are mapped. The same applies to the resource elements 302-1 to 302-5 in the resource block 302 and the resource elements 303-1 to 303-5 in the resource block 303. However, here, a case will be described in which reference signals for four ports are arranged in one resource block, but reference signals of any number of ports (for example, 1, 2, 4, 8 ports) are arranged. - PMI Precoding Matrix Index
- FIGS. 4A to 4C are diagrams illustrating configuration examples of reference signals referred to by a terminal apparatus that performs CoMP.
- a resource block 401 illustrated in FIG. 4A is transmitted from the base station 101 that covers the cell # 1, and includes a reference signal.

- Resource elements 401-1 to 401-4 in the resource block 401 indicate resource elements to which LTE-A reference signals are mapped.
- Resource element 401-6 indicates that the signal is punctured (the signal is not mapped or transmitted).
- the other resource elements 401-5 are resource elements to which signals other than the LTE-A reference signal (data signal, control signal, LTE reference signal, demodulation reference signal, etc.) are mapped.
- Resource elements 401-1 to 401-4 indicate resource elements to which reference signals corresponding to ports 1 to 4, which are different ports (logical ports and antenna ports), are mapped.
- the resource elements 401-1 to 401-4 may be different from the ports 1 to 4, such as corresponding to the ports 11 to 14, respectively.
- reference signals for four ports are arranged in one resource block, but reference signals with different numbers of ports may be arranged.
- the terminal device 104 that performs CoMP with the base station 101 that covers the cell # 1 and the base station 102 that covers the cell # 2 has resource elements 401-1 to 401 to which the reference signal transmitted from the base station 101 is mapped. -4 is combined for each port. As a result, the terminal device 104 generates a replica of the received signal from the base station 101. Also, the terminal device 104 synthesizes the reception signals in the resource elements 402-1 to 402-4 to which the reference signal transmitted from the base station 102 is mapped for each port. As a result, the terminal device 104 generates a replica of the received signal from the base station 102.
- the cell # 2 and the cell # 3 puncture the signal at the same time and the same frequency resource as the resource elements 401-1 to 401-4. Therefore, the replica of the received signal from the base station 101 can be measured with high accuracy because the signal in the cell # 2 and the signal in the cell # 3 do not interfere with each other. Further, the same effect can be obtained when a replica of the received signal from the base station 102 is generated.
- Feedback information (CSI (Channel State Information), information indicating the channel matrix or information obtained by processing the channel matrix, or CQI / PMI from the obtained replica of the received signal from the base station 101 and the received signal replica from the base station 102. / RI).

Thereby, the terminal device 104 can generate feedback information with high accuracy (small influence of interference).
- FIG. 5 is a diagram illustrating an example of a configuration of a radio frame transmitted from the base station 101, the base station 102, and the base station 201.
- the horizontal axis represents time.
- a radio frame 501 shown as signal 1 in FIG. 5 is a radio frame transmitted from the base station 101 covering cell # 1.
- a radio frame 502 shown as signal 2 in FIG. 5 is a radio frame transmitted from the base station 102 covering the cell # 2.
- a radio frame 503 shown as signal 1 in FIG. 5 is a radio frame transmitted from the base station 201 covering cell # 3.
- Each of the radio frames 501 to 503 includes ten subframes SF # 0 to SF # 9.
- a case where radio frames are synchronized between cells is shown.
- Subframes 501-2, 502-2, and 503-2 are subframes in which reference signals for MIMO communication in cell # 1, cell # 2, and cell # 3 are arranged, respectively.
- Subframes 501-3, 502-3, and 503-3 are subframes in which reference signals for CoMP in cell # 1, cell # 2, and cell # 3 are arranged, respectively.
- the other subframes 501-1, 502-1 and 503-1 are normal subframes.
- the subframes 501-2, 502-2, and 503-3 are arranged at the same time, and the subframes 501-3, 502-3, and 503-3 are arranged at the same time. Also, the subframe in which the reference signal for MIMO communication is arranged is different from the subframe in which the reference signal for CoMP communication is arranged.
- the subframes in which the CoMP reference signals are arranged are synchronized between cells capable of CoMP (arranged at the same time). As a result, the ratio of normal subframes can be increased, and an efficient arrangement of reference signals can be realized.
- the subframe in which the reference signal for MIMO communication is arranged is different from the subframe in which the reference signal for CoMP communication is arranged.

- the base station can dynamically switch between CoMP transmission and MIMO transmission, so that the bandwidth can be efficiently Can be used. Furthermore, since MIMO feedback information can be taken into account when determining parameters for CoMP transmission, more suitable transmission parameters can be set. - Subframes 1601-2 and 1602-2 are subframes in which reference signals for MIMO communication in cell # 1 and cell # 2 are arranged, respectively.
- subframes 1601-3 and 1602-3 are subframes in which reference signals for CoMP in cell # 1 and cell # 2 are arranged, respectively.
- Subframes 1601-2 and 1602-4 are subframes transmitted at the same time as subframes 1602-3 and 1601-3, respectively. Therefore, puncturing is performed in the resource element to which the CoMP reference signal is mapped.

- the other subframes 1601-1 and 1602-1 are normal subframes.
- the terminal apparatus 104 in FIG. 1 can measure the CoMP reference signal of the cell # 1 in the subframe SF # 6 with high accuracy. Similarly, in the subframe SF # 2, the CoMP reference signal of the cell # 2 can be measured with high accuracy.
