Description

Mechanism controlling the rotation of roller blinds winding roller with a spring drive
The subject of invention is a mechanism controlling the rotation of roller blinds winding roller with a spring drive, specially a window blinds, when rolling or unrolling the sunshade.
From patent abstract PL 190324 it is known restraining device containing decelerating structure, connected with roller blinds spring drive, described as toothed planetary gear unit with a central wheel, planet wheels and ring gear, A rotor is joint with the central wheel and planet wheels are rotationally seated on unidirectional coupling, while the ring gear is rotationally joint with a roller, hollowed along its entire length of which the two ends are rotationally joint with a couple of bearing pivots. The edge of the sunshade is joint with the roller, and inside the roller there is an immobile middle rod, joint with one of the bearing pivots. A spring, functionally adjusted to impart rotation of the roller in the first direction round its first axis and to pull in the sunshade, is joint with the middle rod and with the roller. In the roller there is located a fluid brake, functionally connected with the roller and middle rod, restraining rotation of the roller in its first direction. A chamber of the liquid brake is rotationally joint with the roller.
Mechanism controlling the rotation of roller blinds winding roller with a spring drive, immovably fixed to roller blinds holder and its winding roller according to the invention is characterized by the fact that it is made up of roller, on which a sleeve is seated, and between the roller and the sleeve there is an annular slot filled with a breaking layer formed from high viscosity medium.
Advantageously, on the sleeve there is seated an outer sleeve, and there is created an unidirectional coupling between those sleeves.
Mechanism controlling the rotation of roller blinds winding roller with a spring drive, immovably fixed to roller blinds holder and its winding roller according to a different form of the invention is characterized by the fact, that it is made up of roller, on which a sleeve is seated, and on that sleeve there is seated an outer sleeve and between the first sleeve and the outer sleeve there is an annular slot filled with a breaking layer formed from high viscosity medium while on the surface of the roller and of the sleeve there is created an unidirectional coupling.
The subject of invention is presented as examples of realization in figures, where fig. 1 presents longitudinal section of mechanism in the form of realization where sleeve is seated on winding roller of the blinds, fig. 2 presents longitudinal section of mechanism in the form of realization where roller is coupled with winding roller, fig. 3 presents side view of mechanism in the form of realization with outer sleeve and unidirectional coupling between the sleeves, fig. 4 presents longitudinal section of mechanism along A-A line, visible in fig. 3, fig. 5 presents section of mechanism along B-B line, visible in fig. 3, fig. 6 presents longitudinal section of mechanism in the form of realization where roller is coupled with v/inding roller and there is an unidirectional coupling between the shaft and sleeve.
Mechanism controlling the rotation of roller blinds winding roller with a spring drive according to the invention consists of a roller 1, on which a sleeve 2 is seated. Between the roller 1 and the sleeve 2 there is created an annular slot, filled with a breaking layer 3 formed from high viscosity medium, fig. 1 and fig. 2.
The controlling mechanism can be embedded in the roller blinds structure in two ways. In the first one, roller 1 of controlling mechanism is immovably fixed to roller blinds holder (not presented in figures) and sleeve 2 is immovably fixed to winding roller 6 of roller blinds fig. 1, and in the second one it is the other way round, what means sleeve 2 is immovably fixed to roller blinds holder and roller 1 is immovably fixed to winding roller 6 of roller blinds fig. 2. The principle of operation of the mechanism consists in the fact, that while unrolling the sunshade rolled on winding roller 6 or while rolling it, roller 1 is rotating against sleeve 2 through breaking layer 3, what causes reduction of rotational speed of roller 1 against sleeve 2 and by this rotational speed of winding roller 6, when rolling or unrolling the sunshade is also reduced.
In the second example of realization, controlling mechanism according to the invention consists of roller 1, on which there is rotationally seated sleeve 2, between roller 1 and sleeve 2 there is created an annular slot filled with a breaking layer 3 formed from high viscosity medium. On sleeve 2 there is seated an outer sleeve 4, and between sleeve 2 and outer sleeve 4 there is created an unidirectional coupling 5 fig. 3, fig. 4, fig. 5. Controlling mechanism can be embedded in the roller blinds structure in two ways. In the first one, roller 1 of controlling mechanism is immovably fixed to roller blinds holder and outer sleeve 4 is imrnovabry fixed to winding roller 6 of roller blinds fig. 3, fig. 4, and in the second one the outer sleeve 4 is immovably fixed to roller blinds holder and roller 1 is immovably fixed to winding roller 6.
Principle of operation of the mechanism in this example of realization consists in the fact, that while rotating the winding roller 6 in one direction — the direction of unrolling the sunshade, wound on winding roller 6 - sleeve 2, together with roller 1 are rotating freely against outer sleeve 4, whereas when rotating the winding roller in the opposite direction - the direction of rolling the sunshade onto winding roller 6, sleeve 2 is coupled with outer sleeve 4 through unidirectional coupling 5. After they had coupled, sleeve 2 together with outer sleeve 4 are rotating against roller 1 through breaking layer 35 what causes reduction of rotational speed of winding roller 6 and by this speed of rolling the sunshade is also reduced.
In the third example of realization, controlling mechanism according to the invention consists of roller 1, on which there is rotationally seated sleeve 25 between roller 1 and sleeve 2 there is created an unidirectional coupling 5. On sleeve 2 there is seated an outer sleeve 4, and between sleeve 2 and outer sleeve 4 there is created an unidirectional coupling which is filled with breaking layer 3, formed from high viscosity medium. Controlling mechanism can be embedded in the roller blinds structure in two ways. In the first one, roller 1 of controlling mechanism is immovably fixed to roller blinds holder and outer sleeve 4 is immovably fixed to winding roller of roller blinds, in the second one this is the other way round, what means the outer sleeve 4 is immovably fixed to roller blinds holder and roller 1 is immovably fixed to winding roller 6.
The principle of operation of the controlling mechanism in this example of realization is analogous to the previous example and consists in the fact, that while rotating winding roller in one direction - to unroll the sunshade rolled on winding roller 6, sleeve 2 together with outer sleeve 4 is rotating freely against roller 1, whereas when rotating winding roller 6 in the opposite direction - the direction of rolling the sunshade onto winding roller 6, roller 1 is coupled with sleeve 2 through unidirectional coupling 5. After they had coupled, sleeve 2 together with roller I are rotating against outer sleeve 4 through breaking layer 3, what causes reduction of rotational speed of winding roller 6 and by this the speed of rolling the sunshade is also reduced. Application of additional outer sleeve 4 in the controlling mechanism improves functioning of mechanism controlling the rotation of winding roller by operation of breaking layer between components of mechanism only in one desired direction which is the direction of rolling the sunshade onto winding roller.
