Abstract

A device for signalling deviation from vertically of a subject comprises an inclinometer operative to measure attitude of the subject in two vertical planes and an alarm connected to the inclinometer to be automatically activated if the attitude in each plane is not within a preset range, characterised in that the device includes switch means manually operable to enable and disable the alarm alternatively.
