Abstract

본 발명은, 랜덤 액세스 픽쳐를 포함하는 다시점 영상 비트스트림을 수신하되, 상기 랜덤 액세스 픽쳐는 랜덤 액세스 슬라이스를 포함하고, 상기 랜덤 액세스 슬라이스는 동일 시간 및 다른 시점에 존재하는 슬라이스만을 참조하는 슬라이스를 나타내는 단계; 상기 수신된 다시점 영상 비트스트림이 스테레오 영상 비트스트림임을 나타내는 식별 정보를 수신하는 단계; 상기 식별 정보에 기초하여 상기 랜덤 액세스 픽쳐가 시점간 예측을 위해 이용되는지 여부를 나타내는 플래그 정보를 획득하는 단계; 상기 플래그 정보에 기초하여 상기 랜덤 액세스 픽쳐의 참조 픽쳐 리스트의 초기화 정보를 결정하는 단계; 상기 초기화 정보를 이용하여 상기 랜덤 액세스 픽쳐의 참조 픽쳐 리스트를 초기화하는 단계; 상기 초기화된 참조 픽쳐 리스트에 기초하여 상기 랜덤 액세스 픽쳐 내 매크로블록의 예측값을 결정하는 단계; 및 상기 매크로블록의 예측값을 이용하여 상기 매크로블록을 디코딩하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 다시점 영상 비트스트림 처리 방법을 제공한다.
