Abstract
The invention relates to exhaust gas turbocharger (1) having a machine housing (2), in which a drive shaft (4) is rotatably supported in a bearing housing (3), a compressor wheel (5) being disposed on one end thereof and a turbine wheel (6) being disposed on the other end thereof, wherein the bearing housing (3) can be inserted in the machine housing (2) as a pre-assembled assembly together with the drive shaft (4) and the turbine wheel (6). The embodiment according to the invention allows extremely simple and cost-effective assembly of the exhaust gas turbocharger.
