Abstract

A switching damper (6) can be turned to a first position (601) at which a first duct (21) is allowed to communicate with a duct (31) on the side of a driver seat and a central duct (33) and a second duct (22) is allowed to communicate with a duct (32) on the side of an assistant driver seat, and to a second position at which the first duct (21) is allowed to communicate with the duct (31) on the side of the driver seat and the second duct (22) is allowed to communicate with the duct (32) on the side of the assistant driver seat and the central duct (33). The structure of triple air outlets (4) provided in the central part of an instrument panel is constituted in such a manner that the switching damper (6) turns to the first position (601) by receiving the rotation of a longitudinal fin (52) when the operating knob (511) of a central air outlet (43) is slid to the side of the driver seat, and turns to the second position by receiving the rotation of the longitudinal fin (52) when the operating knob (511) is slid to the side of the assistant driver seat. Consequently, a crew in the driver seat or the assistant driver seat can be prevented from having a strange feeling due to conditioned air supplied from the central air outlet of the triple air outlets.
