Description

MOBILE MODULAR LABORATORY FOR ELECTRICITY AND ELECTRONICS TEACHING
The present patent application refers to a
Mobile Modular Laboratory, which intends1* to assist the training process and development on electrotechnic and electronics areas, improving professionals, preparing them to their insertion in the labor market. The equipment has advantages such as being specific and containing items described on the attached books, being one hundred percent usable on disciplines of technical courses, of including books and personal protection equipment (PPE), collective protection equipment (CPE) and first aid material, being modular, meeting the needs of all areas of electronics, of being light and of easy transportation, handling, assembly and storage.
As it's known by technicians connected to training and vocational courses, nowadays it exists mobile laboratories manufactured in aluminum composition, main bench, consisting of two working places that will work as a base for using personal kits and separate tables for storing engines, used mainly on professional training centers and vocational schools from the several areas of the electrical energy sector; mobile laboratory in a single module with fundamental typical functions of fixed laboratories consisting of a one-piece body with built-in metallic chassis in special synthetic material stiffened with fiberglass, with robust construction that difficult its handling; and fixed laboratories consisting of rooms and benches on masonry with single use, which mostly is not specific, has limited floor space not allowing many students, depending of the presence of a full time teacher and availability of place.
Researching Brazilian and international patents database, we have found on the state of art the following patents:
Brazilian Patent MU6201418-8, that reveals electroelectronic bench, without wheels, consisting of upper and lower separable parts, considering that the drawers are located on the lower part, arranged horizontally and plugs together with the drawers, on the upper part, at the backend, a horizontal girder with adjustable height which has plugs.
Brazilian Patent MU 7503043-8, that shows a single mobile module, equipped with hydraulic rack, sink, tap, clean water reservoirs, sewage, electronic control panel, electric accumulator, fixed or variable energy measurers. Its main body consists of one-piece body with built- in metallic chassis in special synthetic material, stiffened with fiberglass. Also presents organized storage compartment with several utility kits, keeping them available on the same place, being able to displace it without great effort due to its wheels and support for movement.
Brazilian Patent MU 8100289-0, shows a utility model of a module with new arrangement of mobile laboratory with bench, emergency light, compartment for storing chemical products with a security lock and ventilation door, tank for electrolysis experiments, white board for further explanations about the experiments, water level reader on the reservoir, support for placing towel paper, a water distillation system with vaporizer, duct, condenser and thump keg.
Brazilian Patent MU 8100060-0, shows a mobile laboratory, with surface anti-skid bench, salient borders avoiding draining of liquids, fire extinguisher, uninterruptible Power system (UPS) and shelves on the upper internal stocking part.
German Patent DE 2155298, shows a portable laboratory bench, with adjustable height, fixed sink, with flexible connection for electricity inputs or outputs, water, gas and/or compressed air installation, fixed plugs for energy supply and/or measurement, placed on the floor for connecting flexible tubes.
German Patent 4142453, shows bench without wheels, consisting of upper part with measurement components and control panel, table with two fixed components and drawers on the lower part. This work station system is used for testing communication unities or components. At least one operational and indication unit communicates with the equipment being tested with network line.
American Patent US 5484293, shows mobile multidisciplinary laboratory for self-learning / studying through experimentation and exploring methods. The referred laboratory is permanently preconfigured, eliminating installation, having physical equipments and consumer items for complex investigation, does not. require a teacher, can be used individually or in groups, providing access to the library holdings and ends operationally its use. The current laboratories have as disadvantages not being specific,. demanding assembly time and preparation, are not modular, depend on space; do not have specific books that come with the product, are heavy and of difficult displacement.
MOBILE MODULAR LABORATORY FOR
ELECTRICITY AND ELECTRONICS TEACHING, object of the present patent application was developed to assist the process of instruction and training on the electric and electronic areas, including additional instructions on work safety and first aid on eletrotechnics and electronics, with demonstration of tools and materials used on practice being flexible when teaching several subjects on the same place. Has security protection, allows demonstration of main tools and electric materials used on electro-electronic practice, tools for controlling and measuring the functioning of the observed components, its test and demonstration. Has also frontal space for demonstration (shiftable) for each type of class, easel, built so the module could be substituted, for each type of class, kits for instrumentation and books and equipments for self protection, cases to support disciplines and electro-electronic industrial practice and drawers have divisions with fitting spaces for components. Is applicable for continued education, providing a solid base to professionals that search technical training, improvement and upgrading; for training in companies improving their level of productivity; opened to the community in general, and applied for on-site practice of distance teaching. Ameliorates learning, is fully practical and applicable, providing consistent training and preparing for placement in the labor market; lowering costs due to not needing constructing buildings, quick assembly for classroom practice and low cost per student. The high quality books content and visual chart are related to the practical classes held on the mobile laboratories of the present application, assuring the students learning, on the techniques for teaching electrotechnics and electronics, on teaching work safety including scripts of protective procedures against accidents and first aid and security and preparation of the equipments assembly. Regarding the security aspect, the advantage of being modules, Terminal Blocks with exposed wires do not exist. More efficient classes on same period (time) and preparing expenses, making it possible to develop more practical activities. When speaking about the language used in the collection of books that come with the mobile modular laboratory, explanations were alternated with the technical language, so that the student will gradually incorporate the technical terminology of the area, in other words, that the exhibition would start from the explanation and lead to the concept and technical language.
