Abstract

The invention relates to an electronic magnifying glass (100) comprising an electronic image recording chip (120), an electronic display device (130), and a micro-objective matrix (110). The micro-objective matrix (110) defines an object plane and an image plane and is designed to reproduce structures in the object plane in the image plane at a magnification of approximately one. The electronic image recording chip (120) is arranged in the image plane of the micro-objective matrix (110). The electronic display device (130) is used to display an image recorded by the image recording chip (120). The micro-objective matrix (110) comprises a planar illumination device that is arranged between the image plane and the object plane and is designed to emit illuminating light on one side in the direction of the object plane and to transmit light emitted from the object plane in the direction of the image plane.
