Abstract
The present invention relates to a method for preparing an ultra-light metal carbide-metal nanostructured material, wherein metal carbide is nanopulverized, mixed with metal binder powder, and then while electrically-generated heat is applied, a pressure forming and sintering process may be performed in a short period. The present invention enables the manufacture of an ultra-light metal carbide-metal nanostructured material that effectively suppresses growth of crystalline particles and also exhibits relatively superior mechanical properties.
