Abstract
The present invention concerns a weight control mechanism for a weight machine. According to the present invention, the weight control mechanism for a weight machine comprises: a frame including a support with a base, a pulley coupled to the top of the support, and a pair of guides which are vertically installed on the base and spaced at a predetermined distance from the support; a plurality of weight stacks wherein a pair of guide holes are formed and a weight selection hole is formed therebetween so that theweight stacks can be stacked; a weight rod wherein at least one pin-holding unit protrudes therefrom in order to pass through the weight selection hole and be coupled therein and the weight stack positioned on the top of the pin holding unit is supported and lifted; a weight control unit which controls the weight by rotating the weight rod and selecting whether or not the pin-holding unit holds the weight stack; and an external force transmitting unit including a cable which is connected to the top of the weight rod and thus connected to the pulley, and a handle which is connected to one end of the cable to receive external force. Therefore, the weight of the weight stack is easily controlled, thereby improving convenience, and the weight machine can be made lighter and smaller
