Abstract

The linear element includes two wooden axial and longitudinal parts (1) that are vertically aligned and symmetrically located on the top and at the base of the combined cross section and two parallel, single, laminated structural glass panes (2), one on each side of said parts, wherein the bonding process by means of a monocomponent structural adhesive (3) completes the assembly, allowing an even distribution of stresses throughout the glass pane surfaces. These glass panes, in turn, act as a permanent protection for the wooden parts.
