Description

INHALER
The herein invention refers to an innaier intended for the treatment of the respiratory affections.
For these kinds of affections there are known different treatments with pharmaceutical products that have the disadvantage that, excepting the benefic therapeutic effect, they often present major or minor contraindications, adverse reactions and secondary effects. These are the reasons for which some medicamentary products are unusable for some patients.
Likewise, another known treatment procedure is the one with inhaler. Some inhalers contain medicines or salt. The case of using the inhaler which contains as component the salt and a single valve, has the disadvantage that by its construction the accidental expiration in the inhaler leads to the residue of water drops on the interior walls of the inhaler as well as to the humidification of the salt, a salt that deteriorates by solidification or melting making it unusable before term and diminishing the effects of the treatment.
According to the invention, the inhaler removes the above-mentioned disadvantages, assuring a therapeutic effect with possibilities of rapid dosing of aerosol quantities from the indrawn air without the contact of the dry dust with the expired air, and the accomplishment of a contact only in the cases of using the air with the dry dust, and by its structure that prevents the deterioration of the salt granules using an inhaler made of ceramic material frosted outside and unfrosted inside so that it would be able to absorb in the case of an eventual accidental expiration in the inhaler, the humidity formed by the water vapors from the mixture of humid air and passed through the salt granules within the inhaler, an inhaler formed of two bodies, an upper one A and a lower one B, an inhaler that has as main component some valves with double purpose, which in case of an unsuccessful expiration on the nose and expiration in the inhaler, the risk of sedimentation of humidity particles on the walls of the superior body of the inhaler, therefore a valve closes in order to not allow the entry of humid air in the location of the inferior body B and to protect the salt granules and the second valve opens to allow the elimination of particles of humid air removing the risk of their sedimentation on the walls of the superior body, and in the case of inhalation, a valve opens for the inhaling of salt vapors from the location of the inferior body from the location and the second valve closes to assure the inhalation in optimum conditions of the salt vapors, a salt formed of some granules having a surface with a range of 1 ,5 and 9 mm, the difference of the granules size allowing the volume of air that enters through the inhaler and passes by the salt granules to wash a larger surface resulting a bigger quantity of inhaled aerosols.
The inhaler, according to the invention, has the following advantages:
- the provision of the inhaler with two valves leads to an increase of the usage duration of it under optimum conditions by protecting the salt granules against the particles of humid air, a fact that is accomplished by closing a valve and its exit by opening the second valve;
- the salt granules being of different sizes allow the washing of a larger surface of salt and in that way there is inhaled a larger quantity of aerosols;
- by closing and by opening the valves the deterioration of salt granules is prevented as well as the risk of the sedimentation of humid air on the walls of the inhaler;
- it has a higher usage safety;
- it has a low price;
- due to the reduced dimension it can be used in any location;
