Abstract

A motor pump aggregate having an electronic activation circuit for the regulated activation of an electrical pump motor which drives the pump, wherein said motor is a brushless electric motor. A winding changeover unit is provided for allowing an adaptation of the motor torque and the rated speed on demand by activating the motor in a unipolar or bipolar manner. The pump drive is used in electronic brake control devices in motor vehicles.
