Description
The invention relates to a swivel motor housing having a housing base body, from which at least one wing extends. The invention further relates to a method for producing a swivel motor housing described above.
From the international publication WO 2007/068224 A1, a swing-wing motor with a housing is known, which is produced for example from a forging blank. From the forging blank, an endkontumahe shape is first pre-milled. The final contour can be achieved by a multiple broaching process. Due to the machining in different fixtures, extensive intermediate burr removal operations are required. The high chip volume results in a high degree of tool wear in the milling and broaching tools.
The object of the invention is to provide a swivel motor housing having a housing base body, from which at least one wing emanating, which is simple in construction and inexpensive to produce.
The object is achieved in a swivel motor housing having a housing base body, from which at least one wing emanates, preferably emanating several wings, achieved in that the housing base body is designed with the wing, in particular with the wings, as a sintered forging. In sinter forging, sintered preforms are formed into finished workpieces in a forging tool. Sinter forging is more accurate than drop forging. By manufacturing the swivel motor housing made of sintered metal, the production costs can be minimized. In addition, sinter forging allows for more complex and finer geometries than a conventional forged top. By Sinterschmieden a close contour can be achieved, which requires only a machining operation, in particular a finishing work, as final processing steps for the internal geometry of the swing motor housing with the wing or the wings. In addition, the sinter-forged pivot motor housing has a significantly lower porosity than a sintered part, so that a pressure tightness is achieved without additional treatment. A preferred embodiment of the swivel motor housing is characterized in that the housing base body, viewed in cross section, has at least one area, in particular between the wings areas, with a Bearbeitungsaufmaß. The processing allowance is preferably removed by a machining process, in particular by broaching, at least partially.
A further preferred exemplary embodiment of the swivel motor housing is characterized in that the area, in particular the areas arranged between the wings, has or have the shape of at least one circular arc, in particular arcs, with machining allowance. Another preferred embodiment of the swivel motor housing is characterized in that the wing, in particular the wings, each having a groove with a Bearbeitungsaufmaß or have. The groove in the wing or the grooves in the wings serves or serve to receive a sealing device.
A further preferred embodiment of the swivel motor housing is characterized in that the grooves each have a groove base provided with a machining allowance and two groove flanks which are likewise provided with a machining allowance. Preferably, the radially inwardly directed end region of the wing or the radially inwardly directed end regions of the vanes in the vicinity of the groove are likewise provided with a machining allowance.
A further preferred embodiment of the swivel motor housing is characterized in that the machining allowances, viewed in cross section and relative to a rotational axis of the swivel motor housing, are arranged symmetrically. Preferably, the areas with machining allowance and the areas without machining allowance are distributed so that there is a symmetry to the axis of rotation. This considerably simplifies subsequent machining. This prevents critical burrs from occurring during machining.
The above object is achieved in a method for producing a swivel motor housing described above by the following steps: the housing main body with the wing or the blades is pressed from sintered metal powder into a preform and subjected to a heat treatment; the sintered preform is forged to the swing motor housing with the machining allowances. The pressed preform is preferably subjected to a heat treatment before forging. For this purpose, the pressed preform is exposed in a sintering furnace to a temperature of preferably more than 1000 degrees Celsius. The still hot part is then forged on a forging press.
A preferred embodiment of the method is characterized in that the forged pivot motor housing is machined to remove the machining allowances. The machining is preferably carried out by rooms or Schlichträumen.

The housing base 4 has substantially the shape of a hollow circular cylinder, from which two wings 11, 12 extend radially inwardly. The wings 11, 12 are arranged diametrically and each comprise a groove 15, 16, which serves to receive a corresponding sealing device. The swivel motor housing 1 with the housing-side wings 11, 12 may also be referred to as a stator.
The swivel motor housing 1 is part of a swivel-wing motor with a shaft which has two wings arranged on the shaft side and is arranged rotatably in the swivel motor housing 1. The wave with the wave-side wings is also called rotor. Between the housing-side wings 11, 12 and the shaft-side wings work spaces are formed, which may be larger or smaller depending on the position between the shaft-side wings and the housing-side wings 11, 12.
The shaft with the wave-side vanes can execute an angularly limited rotational movement in one or the other direction in the swivel motor housing 1. The angular limited rotational movement is also referred to as pivotal movement. Such slewing motors or swing-wing motors are used, for example, to turn a roll stabilizer in a roll stabilization system of a motor vehicle, one stabilizer half being fastened to the pivot motor housing 1 and the other stabilizer half to the shaft. The swivel motor housing 1 can be closed by at least one housing cover and / or by pressure plates.
According to an essential aspect of the invention, the swing motor housing 1 is made of sintered metal by sintering. On a swivel motor housing blank machining tolerances 17 to 20 are provided only on those surfaces in which the required finished part dimensions can not be displayed reliably. The areas with machining allowance 17 to 20 and the areas without machining allowance are distributed so that there is symmetry to a rotation axis in the center of the cross section shown in FIG. In addition, the transitions between the surfaces with machining allowance 17 to 20 are designed to those without machining allowance in such a way that they are located in non-functional areas and thus can not cause critical burrs. In contrast to other powder metallurgy processes, the use of sinter forging offers the advantage of an extremely high compaction of up to 7.75 kilograms per cubic decimeter. This corresponds to about 99 percent of the density of solid steel. This high density and the fact that there is no open porosity in the near-surface area due to high densification even allows the use of laser or electron beam welding processes. With increasing density, the fatigue strength of the component increases exponentially. The low porosity also provides the advantage that without additional treatment required during operation pressure tightness of the swing motor housing 1 can be achieved. In addition, sinter forging allows significantly more complex and finer geometries than with a conventional forged top. By Sinterschmieden a Konturenähe can be achieved, which only requires a machining operation, in particular a finishing operation, as a final processing step for the internal geometry of the swing motor housing.
The machining allowances 19, 20, viewed in cross-section, have the shape of circular arcs extending in the circumferential direction between the vanes 11, 12. The transitions between the Bearbeitungsaufmaßen 19, 20 and the wings 11, 12 are, viewed in cross section, as curves 21, 22, 23, 24 executed. The machining oversizes 19, 20 and the rounded regions or curves 21 to 24 are arranged symmetrically, relative to the axis of rotation of the swivel motor housing 1. The housing-side wings 11, 12 with the Bearbeitungsaufmaßen 17 and 18 are, relative to the axis of rotation of the pivot motor housing 1, also arranged symmetrically or formed. The grooves 15, 16 have a rectangular cross section with a groove bottom, emanating from the two groove edges.
