Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Wasserfahrzeug, insbesondere ein Binnenschiff, mit einem Bugbereich im Wesentlichen in Form eines Keils. Mittig ist eine etwa vom Bug nach achtern in den Schiffsboden auslaufende Schrägfläche vorhanden. An der Steuerbord- und Backbordseite sind nach unten ragende Führungselemente vorgesehen, die die mittige Schrägfläche zumindest teilweise begrenzen. Die Führungselemente sind dabei als Kufen ausgebildet, die sich strömungsdynamisch nach achtern verjüngen. Des Weiteren sind achterlich von den Kufen zur Seite und nach unten offene Strömungsbereiche vorhanden, deren Hauptströmungsrichtung in Fahrtrichtung gesehen etwa einen spitzen Winkel zur Mittschiffslinie bildet.
