Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé d'extraction d'hydrocarbures dans un gisement souterrain comprenant : - l'injection de gaz oxydant dans une partie supérieure du gisement et la combustion in situ d'une fraction des hydrocarbures; la propagation de la combustion de la partie supérieure vers une partie inférieure du gisement; - la récupération d'hydrocarbures au moyen de puits de production présentant une partie verticale et une partie horizontale, la partie horizontale étant située dans la partie inférieure du gisement; dans lequel la partie inférieure du gisement est située au-dessus d'un aquifère.
