Abstract

 ヘッドレスト位置調整装置100は、静電容量センサ部10と駆動モータ部30とを備え、静電容量センサ部10は、複数の検知電極11~15と算出回路20とを備える。各検出電極11~15は、ヘッドレスト43の前面側の高さ方向全域にわたって等間隔をおいて並設された状態で配置される。算出回路20は、各検知電極11~15と一対一で接続された複数の静電容量検知回路21~25と演算処理回路28とを備え、駆動モータ部30は、モータ駆動回路と駆動モータとを備える。算出回路20は、各検知電極11~15からの静電容量値を実測定点とし、その測定点に基づいて近似関数からなる仮想曲線を算出する。モータ駆動回路は、この仮想曲線を利用してヘッドレスト43を移動させる。
