Abstract
A support arm (40) for a mounting arrangement for mounting a motor (38) of an axial fan within an outer casing (30), the support arm comprising an elongate vane (40a) arranged and configured to extend between said motor and the inner wall of said casing, and a connecting portion (40b) for connecting said vane to said motor, said connecting portion comprising means (42) for varying the angle of the surface of said vane relative to the direction of airflow through said axial fan.
