Abstract

This invention relates to the door and window systems, which may open in a single or double opening manner owing to their accessories that may open in the desired direction within the joinery frame, placed in the open places with more than one open sides such as the house, balcony, hotel, shop, shop window, and also to the system enabling said door and window to be manufactured with self curtain. The innovative characteristic of the system is that there is present the curtain mechanism (21) inside the upper leaf profile (9), and that said curtain mechanism (21) may be opened together with the glass (4) and may be closed any time desired. Accordingly, there is no need to separately install a curtain in the section covered with glass (4), and the door and the window system is manufactured with self curtain.

Description

DESCRIPTION
WINDOW OR DOOR WITH INTEGRATED ROLLERBLIND
5 Our invention is the door and window systems with self curtain, which may be mounted to all the places with one and more than one open sides, aiming to eliminate the disadvantages caused by the separate use or the installation at a later time of the window and door curtains that protect the places from the sun light and prevent the spaces to be seen from the outside.
10 According to the state of the art, the door and window systems have been in use for a long time and owing to them, the open places may be completely covered or opened depending on the season and the preference.
The main problems encountered with the door and window systems according to the state of the art are the direct penetration of the sun light to the 15 interior and the ability to easily see the interior from the outside.
The application of the curtains, which are used to overcome said problems, on the windows and doors is carried out by means of two general methods.
The first method is the most widely used method, wherein the curtain is mounted to the cornices on the ceiling and thus, it is fixed in front of the doors 20 and windows in such a way that it can be located at a maximum distance of 5-25 cm from these. Since the distance between the windows and the doors and the curtain is big in this application, neither the sun light may be completely prevented from penetrating the interior, nor it is possible to open the windows or the doors by angle of 90 degrees so that they can serve a practical use.
25 Another method is the use of the curtains maintained in the form of a roll inside a box. Said boxes housing the curtain are applied by being mounted on the window or the door leaf. However, the biggest disadvantage borne by this application is that when the window or the door is opened, said box, which is exceedingly thick, hits the side parts of the window or the door leaf, or the wall,
30 and thus it hinders a complete opening of the window or the door.
The common problem with these methods, being the most common examples of the state of the art, is that they have a high cost for the applications carried out at a later time. The main object of our invention is to make the door and window systems with self curtain and thus to provide the users with the ability to cover whenever they desire the place where the door and window system is used and to prevent the sun light, without the need being left for any extra cost and effort.
Owing to the mounting of the curtain together with the glass inside the upper profile of the window or door leafs in the door and windows systems with self curtain, our invention completely eliminates the above-described problems of the state of the art, the windows or doors may be opened at the desired level and up to the desired extent, and since the distance between the curtain and the glass is at a minimum level, the sun light may be optimally prevented and also, there is left no need for an effort to separately fix the curtain after the window or the door is mounted in the place.
Below are the figures and their relevant descriptions, which are necessary for a better understanding of the Door and Window Systems with Self Curtain according to the invention.
Figure 1 is the sectional view of the door and window system with self curtain.
Figure 2 is the view of the curtain mechanism of the door and window system with self curtain. Figure 3 shows the interior and exterior views of the cover and the moving curtain mechanism that provide the movement of the curtain mechanism of the door and window system with self curtain.
Figure 4 is the three-dimensional sectional view of the upper profile of the door and window system with self curtain.
Figure 5 is the general view of the front face of the door and window system with self curtain.
The parts on the figures that enable a better understanding of the invention are assigned with the reference numbers, and the brief descriptions for these parts are provided below.

As seen in Figures 1 to 5, in a door and window system with self curtain, the profile (5), provided with an extra thickness in order to meet the load of the fixed and opening glass (4), is mounted with the desired measure and size in the sections of the open place where the frame is to be fitted. Glasses (4) are secured to the upper leaf profile (9) and the lower leaf profile (23) by means of the screws, and the lower and upper leaf profiles (9, 23) are in turn mounted with the case profile (6) using the accessories such as hinge. In order to enable the glass to open in a central manner without leaning out, the necessary number of wedges (22) are used as adjusted according to the leaf profile (9) height and the weight of the curtain material, because the weight will change due to the curtain mechanism. The opening and closing of the doors and windows operate as in the known systems. The only difference of the doors and windows produced with this system is the presence of the curtain mechanism (21) connected with the glass leaf, which is located into the upper leaf profile (9) and may be opened along with the glass leaf (4), and the use of the wedges (22) in a quantity necessary to balance the weight of the curtain mechanism (21).
In the door and window system with self curtain according to our invention, the upper leaf glass profile (5) is produced wider than the standard leaf profiles and inside this profile (5), the curtain roll (3), roll winding cylinder (10), the curtain (1) made of fabric or any desired material with color and quality varying according to preference, and the curtain mechanism (21) are positioned. In order to fix the curtain mechanism (21) placed into this profile and to enable the mechanism to provide the rotational movement, the leaf profile cover (13, 14) is used, which moves in a manner necessary to wind up or unwind the profile covers and the curtain. Curtains (1) may both be manually operated in a manner to close downwards from the top by pulling its rope, and may also be remotely controlled.
Curtain roll has the ability of freely moving inside the leaf profile (9). In order to enable the curtain to move, to open/close and to be wound onto the roll (3), the leaf profile covers (13, 14) are attached to the right and left sides of the profile. Owing to the housings (12) present in said leaf profile covers, the curtain roll cylinder (10) is mounted to the leaf profile right covers (13), with the mechanism (11) enabling the curtain roll to rotate for winding the curtain, and in case the curtain (1) is closed, it enables the curtain (1) to be wound onto the cylinder in the form of a roll. Said system also makes it possible to detach, clean and replace the curtain (1) when needed. Leaf covers also provide the balance, resistance and stability of the curtain system.
